  • SNOOKER PERFECT GAME 147 Alain Robidoux

HI Snooker fans around the World My friend Alain Robidoux made a perfect game a few days ago on tight tables simular to the ones they have in the Pro Events. He now has 122 perfect games and counting.

Would like to know who has the most perfect 147 games in snooker including exhitbtion matches practise etc.

Maybe some one knows. Leonard from Montreal Quebec Canada

I think Willie is close to the 200 mark. Had no idea Alain had made so many, I remember him best for taking the hump when he thought Ronnie was being disrespectful for playing left handed against him!

Someone mentioned on here a while ago that Hendry stopped counting at 500, but it´s second hand information.

Is Robidoux still active and making a living of cuesports ?

I've heard Jamie Cope stopped counting after 147 147s and he is only 23..

Leonard... I recently overheard someone ask Alain, "How many 147's did you make?"... He replied "You mean last night?"

I have a special affinity to Robidoux...
The best cue I ever owned, a magical Marcel Jacques I got in 1980 was stolen in 1996 and I just stopped playing for 12 years as a result.
Alain experienced as similar career-altering loss of his Marcel as well.

            Cue thieves suck. *

            * Ferret... any luck on your cue?

Must be Hendry, probably O'Sullivan as second.

              Willie Thorne, lol... no way!

You shouldn't laugh, he really is up there with the best!

He just never really brought his best game to the tournament tables.

At least that is what the rumours say!

Maybe he's made a lot in practise, who knows, but he's nowhere near the greatest players.

A lot of Willie Thorne's 147s were not legit. Some of his practice frames would start with himself or his practice partner setting up the balls - minus the pink & black - smashing the apex of the pack of reds then after this first shot was played, the pink & black would then be put on their spots. 147s he made in frames that started that way should never have counted in his tally. But he did.

I agree those don't count. However that's a wicked way to practice your break-building, I'm going to try that out next time I've got the table to myself. Thanks for the info.
