Happy unofficial birthday to me!

Not that I like to be thought of in the same circles as the Queen, today is my unofficial birthday, because my knee is six years old today!

It was fitted on the very cold morning of 10 February 2003 in a north London hospital and has provided me, ever since, with a good reason to have two birthday nights down the pub every year.

Anyone else here have any ... erm ... implants that they're not too embarrassed to mention?

I dont have any replacement parts myself yet but my knees do give me a bit of Jip at times, so running is out of the question, and even have to be careful cycling.

Does your replacement knee allow you to do stuff like that ?
