Mine isnt the fastest Skyline, but its pretty nippy too, 0-60 in bout 5.2. My tubby spools @ about 3,500 rpm but it gets there in a blink of an eye. And it stays in boost all the way to red line @ about 6,800-7,000rpm before it goes poppity pop:P and it does that from gears 1-4, havent redlined it in gear 5 before:P I put it up for sale here before not long ago, but no interests, think recession has something to do with it
Theres a couple of pics in the for sale thread somewhere.
but maybe one day, just oneday I will own a GT-R (dreaming )
Ford release a cracking car and then make one in orange! Each to their own opinion but I cant look at the orange without sunglasses . Silver every time for me. 0-60 is more like 6.5 secs (will not stay with an astra vxr) and the new RS is around 5.9secs with a top speed of 162 mph which is crazy for a hot hatch. 300hp through the front wheels is just about the limit but I bet the 60-100 times are much more impressive.
The ST relies on its torque and starts to fire you along from as little as 1500rpm. Power band on the turbo is no where near as good as your skyline and falls away at about 5500rpm. Not the fastest of cars but its just the sound of the deep 5 cylinder engine and the handling for a heavyish car that make it total driving pleasure. I'm off to stretch its legs at the nurburgring in the summer and i cant wait!
Let me know when you get that GT-R because I want to be the second person to test drive it

love the sound of my straight 6.
The RS would have to have good torque to do a good 60-100, i'm not very clued up about them though. but they do look nice and I don't usualy go fo Fords.
The VXR isn't much faster though, just by milli secs. The RS will have the VXR I'm sure of it.
But the Monaro now different story:P
rWhats the weight of an ST? The R34 GT-T is about 1450t.
ated top speed of a GT-T is bout 175, much different from a GT-R.
I've always wanted to go to the Nurburgring, never had the money or time, and need a few more mods to help turbo lag, though i don't get to much cause its a standard tubby so its not that big, but would be nice to hear her with a straight through pipe, down elbow and forged manifold for better breathing and turbo spool.
Also I would love bigger injectors for a bigger tubby, maybe a HKS T25 or something similar:P but so expensive to do all that.
But now my baby needs her wheel bearings done, been quoted about £600
but has to be done, the noise is getting louder now and scared to push it. Plus a service is in order to damn these high maintenance cars
I got a couple of short vids on youtube of the Skyline, just look under vids from d8nam and a clip of me next to the R35 GT-R, wish the keys were hanging near by some where
If you're on facebook you can add me Nam Dang, got loads of pics of cars I've gotten close to in there, feel free.

But boy do you have to work them to get the power out. It revs crazy like a wankel engined car, love the RX-7, might get that as a next car if I sell my Skyline.

I have to put it in passenger seat.
Z4's looks not enough space to fit but actually quite easy.
My mate is having problem to fit his one piece cue into his RX-7(FD3S) as he has thick roll cage in it.

Midnight? There is a mountain (winding road) just 5 min from my house and there will be lots of HASHIRIYA (The battle guys) around there.
I used to be the one when I was 20ish with my MINI to beat a bigger car like GT-R, RX-7, LANCER EVO and etc.
Can you imagine what they react when I beat them with the more than 40 years old cars?
Anyway, it's my home course.
Concerning my strange choice, my wife wanted to drive MAZDA Roadster (I guess you call it MX5 in UK right?), then she found Z4 in BMW dealer when we were serching for good used MAZDA.
Z4 really attracts her then I bought it.
Actually, I want have 1960 Austin Healey 3000 not Z4 but she asked me what she have to do when the car broke down middle of the motor way.
I told her she just have to cal AA or something.
She did not like it.
Woman always talk about cost performance on there buying stuff.
I am afraid I have not got my facebook yet.

I meant midnight scene as in midnight club sort of thing, sorry. I can picture the mountain now in the moon light with the guys drifting down the winding roads. Very nice, wish i was there
LOL true what you say about women, no offence to the ladies on here
Yeah its called MX5 here.
Your mini must've had lots done to it beating monsters like those Japanese muscle cars, I can imagine their faces, I'd be shocked just to watch it
I have quite a few Hot Version and BMI dvds in my collection, but to many and costs to much to have them all, they usualy costs about £17-£19.99 a dvd here
But I understand where she is coming from about breaking down, i hate that
When you do have facebook feel free
Must sleep now though, 4.45am here in London UK
K catch you soon cooper1275s

I hope snooker gets really popular here in Japan as I believe snooker is a best cue sport in the world.
Sorry for misunderstanding.
I don't usually go out for night except to play pool. There are quite lots of clubs around but not much my kind of my genre they play. I am really keen on the "LONDON ELEKTRICITY" I hope you know. Actually, Japanese does not have such a habit to go out Friday or Saturday night for night clubs. They usually go for restaurant or bar with there friend then KARAOKE or that thought of style. It is quite boring for me as I used to live in UK for 4 years about 15 years ago and I know UK style is much fun.
yes, I have modified so much things on my MINI. It is so many things to list up so I better not to list up here. It's too much. I would say it is just like 1967 Works Rally spec. When the Works MINI had most big power and well balanced.
