I just use public transport. But I'm looking for a 3 or 4 year old Toyota Avensis or Honda Accord. I'd always buy Japanese over a Dagenham Dustbin or a Fix It Again Tony.
love the sound of my straight 6.
The RS would have to have good torque to do a good 60-100, i'm not very clued up about them though. but they do look nice and I don't usualy go fo Fords.
The VXR isn't much faster though, just by milli secs. The RS will have the VXR I'm sure of it.
But the Monaro now different story:P
rWhats the weight of an ST? The R34 GT-T is about 1450t.
ated top speed of a GT-T is bout 175, much different from a GT-R.
I've always wanted to go to the Nurburgring, never had the money or time, and need a few more mods to help turbo lag, though i don't get to much cause its a standard tubby so its not that big, but would be nice to hear her with a straight through pipe, down elbow and forged manifold for better breathing and turbo spool.
Also I would love bigger injectors for a bigger tubby, maybe a HKS T25 or something similar:P but so expensive to do all that.
But now my baby needs her wheel bearings done, been quoted about £600
but has to be done, the noise is getting louder now and scared to push it. Plus a service is in order to damn these high maintenance cars
I got a couple of short vids on youtube of the Skyline, just look under vids from d8nam and a clip of me next to the R35 GT-R, wish the keys were hanging near by some where
If you're on facebook you can add me Nam Dang, got loads of pics of cars I've gotten close to in there, feel free.
ST is about 1350kg. NO DOUBT the RS will beat a vxr hands down. Once up to speed and the 4WD/RWD drive has lost its advantage I dare say the RS may scare a scooby or an Evo from 60-100.You'll think thats daft but just a hunch ive got. We'll wait and see. Maybe i'll own one in about 5 years when I can afford one
Had a look at the clip-nice car mate. I'm the same. You get a quickish car, get used to it and want to upgrade/tune the hell out of it. Great in theory but not great on the pocket.
Youre right, dont push it until youve sorted those bearings!
Ive just made the mistake of looking at a load of clips from nurburgring including several crashes. That track is ridiculously unforgiving with no run off areas. The worst thing is, if you crash (and survive) youve got pay for the barrier repairs which arent cheap
Ive got a fair bit of track experience so steady at first and build up me thinks.
Nice 90+ break on there as well. You broke the century yet?
vw golf mk4 r32 , resprayed weels, touch screen dvd remapped to a good 260bhp , 0-60 6 secs approx 159mph
Sounds nice, ive got a 2003 mini cooper s (supercharged model) - been thinking about getting it chipped or different supercharger, but the petrol consumption is pretty low as standard (well the way i drive it is )
Friend of mine just bought a 2008 model (now turbocharged) and does feel faster and smoother - but i like the whine from the supercharger.
Forgot to say its a bit of a squeeze for the one piece cue case
