just done some maths on this and I don't think I'm far off ... all figures below are approximate but roughly right I think ...

Shuttle ... external tank and Shuttle (excluding boosters) contain about 650,000 US gallons of fuel ... say 550,000 UK gallons ...

the orbit of the Shuttle is say 4,100 miles from the centre of the Earth ... so orbiting once every 90 mins for 10 days give a distance flown of roughly 16*10*2*3*4100 ... approx 4,000,000 miles ...

so mpg for the Shuttle is about 4,000,000 / 550,000 = 8 mpg ...

so your vehicle ADR is a little bit less efficient than the Space Shuttle ... but probably more fun

yes it would appear to be some badges some floor matts and a fancy set of wheels! That said I have owned a number of M cars over the years 3's and 5's but now if you were buying a BMW 5 series and bought the M5 instead of the diesel you would be mad!
