We think we are paying too much. You say you had a GTI Funny car. Are you talking a drag car? I live about 10 minutes from Toronto Motor Sports. I use to go there as a teenager and drag in what they called Trophy class.

I bought a red 1.9 version brand new in 1989 (F reg), very very quick car, only had it a week or so when i panicked going into a tight right hand uphill bend far too fast, stupidly took my foot off the throttle and the rear end came right round on me in a perfect arc, trouble is i was now facing the oncoming cars who were doing 60 ish, (i was probably doing 90 ish), hazards on, stuck it into reverse and floored it, never been so scared in my life

                        • A little late, but thought I would add.

                          - Ford Escape - work pays for this one
                          - Mazda RX- 8 - stored in the garage but selling it later this week to a close friend!
                          - Suzuki 750 Katana Sport touring bike - looking to change later this year... not sure what I'll go with

                          Cheers
May I smoke my pipe as well?
