RR TD6 3.0. Defender 90 TD5. Ford Focus. Favourite cars were a mk1 Boxster, MG ZT v8, mk3 MR2 and a Fiat Punto mk2 (best car we ever owned). Worst car was a Peugeot 309 to learn in, with no power steering, worst clutch ever, big turning circle for its size, dreadful to parallel or reverse park, all the finesse of a barge but every car after that was easy.

Mate had one of these back in the 90s when he worked as a stone mason, I was very jealous at the time! Superb pick-up. I know someone who just bought a '15 Ranger but a Hi-lux tops it for me, though an Isuzu comes close. Wish I didn't love LR.

just sold a TDV6 Rangerover 54 plate , hilux is are were bombproof , just bort the mrs a ford kuga awd its brilliant , i have a 10 plate T330S SWB TRANSIT SWB 186BHP LOL and a vw caddy sportline 09 plate love cars too lol along with ash sticks haha

for the last 2 years it was with Tradewise but they pulled the plug cos i wasnt classed as a motor trade and now insure through Hadrian Flux ,

I've been offered a very early Series 3, tax exempt, think that makes it 72/73. Not sure though, leaf springs, block steering and all; agricultural. Can it be coiled over? It has a Montego diesel on board; noisy but mpg isn't too bad; think it's a 2 litre jobby; not brilliant for pulling trailers. Soft top (grrr), short wheel base. Usual rot in places, bottom of doors etc. Chassis and bulk are ok I think. Guy wants 3.5k. Fair value?
