eurovision is an insult for good music

    about nothing to add.

maybe except that its sooo funny when Ireland gives us (ie Lithuania) quite a few votes... of course its way more likely its emigrants voting not Irish themselves. and then where Ru (and maybe Balkan countries and eg Poland too) dont have emigrants..

I did care, I love the most of his music and was glad to see him on the stage.

Glad someone cared I know you'd get more votes from the UK putting him on stage... but as UK people cant vote for themselves I wondered how many people abroad would actually care

Pardon my ignorance. I did not know, that:

                      1988
                      Winner: Celine Dion

So it's only 20 years, danny.
Robbo's potting is so good he doesn't need to bother with positional play like the rest of the players. He laughs in the face of those who spend hours on the practice table perfecting their cue ball control! ~ Forman

My favourite Eurovision song is one of Ireland's I think - My Lovely Horse - it was a catchy little number! If memory serves me correctly it was actually sung by a couple of priests.

Hmm While there seems to be general agreement that Abba were pop geniuses Im not sure if that is the case with Celine Dion.

Whether she is a "good act" is a matter of opinion.

But "in fairness" as willie thorne would say, i suppose you are right, as Celine Dion cannot be dismissed as the usual rubbish on there.
