    Raising Sand by Robert Plant and Alison Krauss.

    Oh, you said 2009? Sorry, I thought it was 2008, when Raising Sand was released. It should still be allowed in though, as it's wonderful!

            The latest Kings Of Leon album has really helped me through the last two weeks... after about 5 plays it gets better every time!

              mastodon are insaine. would love to be at donnington this week cuz i think their playing, if not im thinking of sonisphere.

              would like to say death magnetic but that was 2008.......

                  US release last year, UK release this year - awesome stuff

                  The Gaslight Anthem - The 59 Sound
                  Glasvegas - Glasvegas

                  These may have been realeased last year. But i was a bit late discovering them so they are 2009 for me

                  The 59 Sound is absolutely amazing.

                  Glasvegas's Geraldine is one of the most uplifting and stirring indie anthems ive heard. The album deserves a listen for that alone, thers some other great stuff on there too.

                        I prefer RCHP and Jason Mraz. I read everything above but I do not like it... I usually listen to SKA, punk and rock..

                              yep, the white lies album is amazing, the same goes for mastodon and isis also! have a feeling that mastodon and isis just can't record a bad album, every album is getting better and better!
