Hopefully, his recent big breakthrough win against Rafa in Spain should help a lot!

Would love to see Andy Murray take the title but can't see it happening! My money is on Nadal of course - the man is an absolute beast on clay and especially at Roland Garros.

Very shocking to see Nadal dumped out! It's going to be interesting now. The favourite will obviously be Roger Federer who will be absolutely delighted but anything can happen. This is without doubt his best chance to win the one that has eluded him. Come on Murray though!!

Nadal lost...that is good news. Soderling played outstanding and won qiute easily.
Now Roger has a good chance ....Haas, Roddick, Del Potro..and then the final. If he will do it he will equal Sampras, but more important is the fact that Pete never won the French Open, so extra motivation for Roger.

Sorana Cirstea of Romania defeated Jelena Jankovic, the fifth seed and reached the quarters....its the first romanian girl to make it this far since 1997.
                        Well done Sorana.

Would love to see Roger better Sampras' record... he deserves it!

Big win for Federer today, he looked like he was on way. He knows if he doesn't win it now then he's probably destined to never win it. Juan Martin Del potro is looking in good form too, a potential semi against Fed will be special. Muarry Gonzalez tomo.. come on Muzza bring it home..
