if Roddick serves like he did yesterday Federer will have big problams..

      thanks.very.

Sad but true we mostly get BBC world news which is top stuff (last of the Colonial Empire info rather than gold and spices and diamonds and skinned beavers). Year-old Eastenders/Corry... NO :snooker: FKRZ!

Well, I have found this H2H and it looks like they are the tennis' Ali Carter and Ronnie O'Sullivan..
Robbo's potting is so good he doesn't need to bother with positional play like the rest of the players. He laughs in the face of those who spend hours on the practice table perfecting their cue ball control! ~ Forman

Yep. Federer reads Roddick's serve incredibly well and I think he'll have much more success returning him than Murray did. Murray is an exceptional returner generally but I don't think anyone gets as many 130mph+ balls back as Federer, he deals with the massive hitters very well indeed.

It's of course important for Roddick to serve well tomorrow but I think the bigger factor will be his consistency both from the baseline and at the net. Considering the level of aggression in his game he made very few unforced errors against Murray, and that part of his game is generally much improved this year. Given Federer's returning and rediscovered patience Roddick will be forced into quite a few rallies on serve. It's those that have been his undoing against Federer in the past but if he handles them as well as he did against Murray he'll be very difficult to break - and we know how he loves tie breaks.

Why are the Williams sisters playing in the WTA tour! It's not fair.

Nah, seriously their dominance is incredible and when they are in the mood to play tennis no one can stop them. (Come back Justine Henin!)

So Andy takes the 1st set after surviving 4 break points.

P.S: Am I the only one who wants Andy to win this one?!

Oh Andy What were you doing?! He had 4 set points in the tie-break and messed them all up!
1 set all it is then!

Raise a hand who didn't absolutely love the tie-break!

And because I haven't forgotten about very.tee, raise a hand who isn't interested in seeing the ____ faces of Pete Sampras and his wife anymore.

Federer seems to be on his A-game. Roddick on his A+-game
For very different reasons I want either to win.
                      I won't be disappointed.

all those shots of sampras sitting watching the game are getting pretty tiresome

Would I be tempting the tennis gods too much if I said I wanted Andy to take the next game to be treated to a five set drama?

                              Federer couldn't sleep last night.
In fact, he woke up in a cold sweat.
We are watching his nightmare right now.
