Firefox !!!!

for a while now ive been using firefox browser but recently its been crashing at will and now i cant open more than 1 window at the time and pop up windows wont open but it will open in tabs..

ive gone back to IE now but i was wandering does anyone else use Firefox and do you have problams with it ??

I am using firefox for over a year..It was working perfectly until recently that is freezing for some time and it even crashes..I don't know what's going on..
I think the problems started in the version 3..Version 2 was much better..

yes thats identical to me but only last week i cant open a second window at all with it..

Never had a problem with Firefox here, indeed it is IE that I find unbearable. Have heard a few people have similar issues with FF recently though, strange.

Are you all using a PC platform or Mac?

No problems here with latest Mac OS 10.5.7 and latest FF updates.

my ff is playing up last few days. keep getting an adobe acrobat screen opening up?!?

btw, i been using google chrome and swr iron a lot too. seems faster and slicker....

I use firefox most of the time as well, just because it automatically logs me in to TSF! I can still open multiple windows with it but my pop-ups come in tabs too and, yes, it freezes every now and again too

I had several crashed since the latest update, but I suspect it is rather an incompatibility with some add-ons than FF itself. No problems with using several windows though... I usually block all ads and scripts, so I don't really get pop-ups a lot, but the few I have seem to always open in separate windows, not tabs. I wonder whether there are some preferences you can change for that...

Overall, I quite like FF, but it definitely is slower than e.g. chrome (but again, might be and add-on issue). I hope the next version speeds things up a bit.

TODAY ive downloaded OPERA Browser and although i prefere the firefox outlook or IE opera is much faster and slicker loading sites.

Firefox used to be fast but now it's very average. I've read somewhere about issues related to flash 10 and also picasa3. Picasa3 was causing problems everywhere for me so I went back to picasa2. You have to disconnect before installing and disable auto updates before reconnecting though. I find Chrome lightning quick... which leads the conspiricy theorist in me to wonder whether Google have made picasa3 clash with firefox in order to drive people to Chrome.

I always use FF and its wokring great as always, no problemo! You can try re-installing it.

ive done that .......stil the same and it cant be my computer because im on opera since yesterday morning and its so much faster than firefox has been for the last 2 or 3 months if im honest.

Firefox has been acting dreadful for me since the last update to version 3. Flash videos keep jumping, nothing loads smoothly, i cant scroll up or down smoothly etc. I really don't know what's going on with it, as it was fine beforehand.
