  • Whats your longest??.....

    Went for a dozen frames with me brother earlier today, due to work and going on my holibobs i've not had me hand on the table since 5th august.....must admit i been chomping at the bit... but a played crap!!! is this due to my lack of table time or just over excitment and trying to hard??

    what the longest yous have been without beloved snooks???

    polly was pleased to see me again
    just coz i'm from essex i dont wear white socks or drive an escort!!! alright

    Based on my own personal experiences, it will take you around three weeks to get your form back.

    You may find the break has done you some good, you may not.......

        When the summer pool league starts. From then its no snooker for three and a half months. It really helps having the snooker forum though, otherwise i dont know how i'd cope.

          LOL. Honestly. Last year I came back after my break and really suffered. I felt I had taken a few steps backward.

          This year, the break has done me the world of good. I have actually improved through not playing! I KID YOU NOT! It has been like a snooker revelation.

          What both breaks have had in common though, is as I said earlier. It took me around 3 weeks to get my consistency back.

            cheers boys.....

            i know what your saying check....... not so long ago i was playing around 20/23 hours a week and it was getting worse and worse and i had a week away and my game improved and it also slowed down (only a bit) for the better.
            just coz i'm from essex i dont wear white socks or drive an escort!!! alright

                    6 years and now i dont play half as good as i used to but ok i suppose for a few hrs a week player.

                      8 years now. Picked it up again in April, but no way near as good as before. Hopefully my Trevor White (due soon) will help with my game.

                        went for a couple of hours again today... wasn't so bad, but i'm gonna put it down to too much swimming on holiday.... has effected my cueing action.

                        WHO SAID EXERCISE WAS GOOD FOR YA???
