    The Boss picks his 11

    4-3-3:

GK: Harold: Burly and determined, he'll grind out all the corners. A safe pair of hands and tough to beat.
RB: Carter: He'll cover Ronnie when he gets forward and assist most of his attacks.
CB: S Davis: The skipper and an old head at the back. Who needs pace when you can read the game so well?
CB: Ebdon: A good cyborg like T-800, programmed to protect the team and smother any attacks. When in an attacking mood, he'll spring forward for a set-piece to head the winner.
LB: Robertson: From down under to up front in a flash, he'll spend more time getting forward from the left than he will defend.
RW: O'Sullivan: Like his namesake Ronaldo, the most talented player on the pitch, pacy on the break, capable of outscoring the centre forward or producing an inspired bit of skill to win the match.
CM: Maguire: A hard man in the middle, he can dominate the midfield with his passion and physical approach.
CM: J Higgins: As astute in the tackle as he is tactically. Often at the centre of most of the team's good moves.
CM: Perry: Like a fully trained assassin, he can fire a shot from distance and find the goal when you least expect it. He will also raise eyebrows at any bad decision or lack of a pass.
LW: Williams: Substitute his left hand with a left foot, and you have a player who can score from range or cross the ball for his mate in the box to finish off.
CF: Hendry: The most prolific scorer in the team and most often the match winner, he'll convert any half chance into a goal.

Tony Drago (The Boss): Authoritative, never satisfied, he will rally the troops in the dressing room and from the touch line.
Mark King (Assistant Coach): To learn from the Boss and one day replace him. Not afraid of getting physical, he will confront any player not pulling their weight.

Who do i start: The Boss ponders his team selection.

How long did that take you?

      A good read, though.

        4-4-2

GK: Mark Allen: Young but nimble, dances between the goalposts much like Manchester United's Ben Foster and his Irish backgrounds means he takes no shi*.
RB: Jamie Cope: The Shotgun can burst forward from the back like a bullet and provide support to his attacking comrades.
CB: Stephen Lee: The rock at the back. His physical presence makes the other teams forward's tremble with fear. His silky smooth cue action promotes effortless boots up the other end of the pitch.
CB: Ken Doherty: Crafty Ken on a football pitch as well as a snooker table, his ability to read the game and adjust accordingly proves vital.
LB: Liang Wenbo: The new kid in town bought from the Chinese International team for just under £13m. Unpredictable but awe-inspiring, could be the dark horse of the squad.
RM: Ding Junhui: Another Chinese protegee but this one's talent is comfirmed. His close control and touch enables him to dance through the opposition's defence with tricks and turns.
CM: Judd Trump: In the Cesc Fabregas mould, Trump can pick a pass from anywhere on the pitch and carve open the opposition like butter.
CM: Jimmy White: Experience and flair. He may be old but he's still quality in patches and never drops his head no matter what the score is. A great team motivator.
LW: Stephen Hendry: The seven time world champion has done everything in this sport and settles on the position of LW. Deadly positional play means he can drop the ball on a sixpence.
CF: Ronnie O'Sullivan: The rocket blasts through defences at 100mph like a Formula 1 car, finishing off any move in a flash.
CF: Neil Robertson: The perfect combination with Ronnie, not only combines attacking flair with accuracy, but his astonishing power means he is a threat outside the box as well.

John Higgins (Manager): Higgins knows the value of a B game and even a C and D game, and his vast amount of experience knows no boundaries. Still hanging onto attacking instincts, Higgins values both sides of the game and his calm Scottish Accent can settle down even the most trembling young Chinese Player.

Martin Gould (Assistant Manager): Martin's use of Facebook has earned him a special place with the young computer literate players of the team. His accessibilty means that any player with a problem can go to him at any time and be provided with full, friendly answers.
Crucible77's Bahrain Championship Fantasy Game Winner 2008 :snooker:

        HB practice: 112
        HB match: 81

          That's harsh on Mark.

About 20 minutes. I fancy my team's chances over StJimmy's. His lacks pace at the back. Ronnie will run rings around Stephen Lee. He'll need replacing after 5 minutes. Robertson's speed and power might be better utilised at the back
