I watched a clip of the fight. No. Sorry.
I tried to watch a clip of the fight. I failed.
I couldn't bear to watch the same sport Ali and Tyson immortalized being turned into such a cheap circus freakshow.
Haye got it right in his pre-fight slander.
It hurt my feelings to watch heavyweights carry on like that.
Haye "rope-A-doped" the heavyweight division itself!
Is it any wonder MMA is kicking the crap out of boxing?
Fedor Emilianenko would put Valuev (Ruiz, Haye, Vitali or Wladimir too) to sleep inside 3 minutes.
    And... with style and grace.

    Maybe it's time...

it wasn't pretty but then no Valuev fight has ever been. you cant honestly have expected haye to go toe to toe with him?

Anyone remeber Del a Hoya v Mayweather?

Del a hoya was agressiver for 12 rounds Mayweather landed a better % of punches and got the decision. Dirrel tried to do the same against Froch and didnt. Fact is its all about interpretation. i actually thought it was closer than 4 rounds. but with close rounds they can go either way the only round that was clear cut was the 12th, which haye won emphatically.

Haye will destroy Ruiz next, and against the young Klitchko i fancy his chanches, he's got a lot to do if he faces Vitali though.... perhaps age may end up being a factor. the fact is though, Heavywieght boxing has finally got a fighter people will pay to watch and that is what was desprately needed.
Pretty sure direll landed more than froch.. But wouldn't go toe to toe the whole fight just like haye.. people say how could he possibly against such a big opponent and so on, but put a young Tyson in with him and he'd have smashed him in the first 3. Main ponit is, haye rocked him in the last round but failed to put him down. He was fighting for a world title ffs , he should have done it in an earlier round.. but oh yes the hand injury, don't buy that personally

I think fair play to him for beating him ( Just ). But i think his attitude stunk after he won. He was on Radio 1 the next day, and all he could say about it was that Nikolia was a freak and a monster.. how much sportsman ship is that. The scores were pretty close so he didnt thrash him. And ill tell you what for a big guy he was still moving around a fair bit even in the last round. I say well done to Nikolia for keeping up with the fitter and faster player.

Anyone watch the Hayemaker tonight? He was in devastating form, stopping two time former World Champion John Ruiz in the ninth round. I love his exciting style and charismatic personality. Just what the heavyweight division needs. Bring on the Klitschko brothers!!

Yip, i watched it, was a cracking fight.

Breath of fresh air to the heavyweight div is old dai....

That ruiz can half take a punch tho can't he, dai was hardly moving him with his best shots, knocked his head back a little and he just just kept coming forward, Not the type of fighter you want to fight too many times in your career is ruiz. But saying that, looking at the state on ruiz, he had that 1 fight too many long ago... still, nice to see someone up for it he was defo their to fight alright and a goodun it was...I enjoyed it very much...

Cracking fight, and great to see an exciting HW boxer with speed. power and style for a change, gotta be the fastest HW since Ali surely, gonna be a hard man to beat is dave...

Loved it, can't wait for the nxt 1 now...
