not at all. since you asked, it means "connect with the room of the chinese" hence the phone symbols, the second part means "may you be lucky in love". too long to explain the background but at least theres no rude words there.

People that have been on the forum for some time will know that locking threads early only causes new threads on the same subjects to keep popping up.

I think you are the only member urging Mr Ferret to be less open and transparent with his decisions. Hopefully it will stay that way.

i am not that active on the forum but i do pop in every now and then but every time i do all i see is this sill little girls posts that seem to annoy and agitate people and are on the verge of working against the hard work that the people behind this great forum have done

if i was in charge i would of got rid of her along time ago and not taken her off of the moderation

Im a regular poster on this forum and i think i can speak for a fair few fellow regulars when i say despite the odd brush with the law (ferrett) we consider Ja to be a welcome contributor here.

off topic drivel or not I feel a lot more comfortable reading her posts than the personal attack on her you've just contributed which im sure is also grounds for moderation.

The idea is that isn't tolerated. You just make it a rule not to do it. I am sorry but it hs nothing to do with transparency. All this does it make a problem worse, prolongs it and then people poke fun at the banned member or shame him even more or discuss if it "is right"

I fully support Ferret's temporary ban of WJE ... Ferret clearly stated his reasons and quoted WJE's postings that caused him to ban him ... I certainly found WJE's first posting (involving the c word) unaceeptable ...

however, why some people will say forum members should not be allowed to discuss this (the thread should be locked) or why Welsh-Snooker has been extremely rude and personal to Ja on this thread ... neither I understand ...

Ferret should be congratulated for his measured intervention and temporary ban of WJE for too much swearing ... and I think the forum will support him (although as I'm sure Ferret does, he and me will welcome WJE back after 10 days) ...

I see no reason why the forum shouldn't be allowed to discuss this ...

firstly i love PUI - i will be using that!

secondly i don't think ferret is trying to totally ban swearing as such, just when it is over the top, offensive and out of context - the trouble with freedom of speech is that some people will always abuse that freedom. it is a shame its during the uk's though. but he chose to make the post and i think everyone would agree its not his smartest!
