I might also mention that the quality of debate on their is dire! I can't think of any users that I'd go across the road to talk to about snooker!

i always find it funny when someone gets banned and they start chucking toys out of the pram everywhere when they didnt read the rules and regs of any site they sign up to....

oh and doing that REALLY helps in admin /moderators rethinking a ban eh

You are wasting your time....there is a snobby kind of attitude on TSF which is why I seldom post here, and you are best off just doing what I do...posting infrequently and staying well away from TSF. Stick to Seifer or Oneball's forum [I dare not post a link because that is bannable here], it is better for debate and you won't run into this type of thread.

I have seen your threads at Oneball's gaff and I know you are a great poster. Your articles are very long and very thoughtful. 606 is a disease that gets everyone down and TSF can be a bit stuck up and closed minded. This post sure won't go down well with some here but it needs saying. There are also a few members here that are a kind of chummy-up group who aggitate situations- you get that everywhere. There will be people unable to venture out of their bubbls and see what else you have written, always willing to judge a person on 1 angry post.

Not to say TSF doesn't have its finer points, like having the pro's here and being something you can't compete for in regards to information, interviews etc, but debate wise it is rank bottom.

Don't get stressed about it Tubberlad! Just reduce your time spent here accordingly and make good on your word about 606. It isn't worth it. I said this before, you either agree to the way a forum operates (however badly or biased) or you just don't post on it.

And before somebody says something smart like "why don't you leave then", you will notice that this forum operates with a closed policy to none members. Not just that, I do find out some great things here and I do see some very good posters here who don't get into these kind of threads or situations; I am not tarring everyone with the same brush. Constructive criticism isn't illegal in Britain either (though you can be sure that is next).

As for Tubbers post, I think it highlighted a flaw with management of this forum, even if it was a bit aggressive and confrontational. To people here baying for blood - Grow up. It isn't the end of the world that your forum has been criticised. This place isn't a religion or a new world order; it isn't center of the universe and it is not to be taken so seriously that you must round on criticism like pack rats. Take it on the chin - move on.

Never have understood forum wars. First discussing this forum somewhere else and then coming on a crusade here, to prove the point. Of course, that would not be met by users well here.
I am sure most people on TSF understand forum's pros and cons, and if they choose to be here, that's fine. If they choose to use other forums too, great, I've always thought diversity is a great thing, and we need different forums to accomodate different interests or rather tastes. I don't see a point in proving something is better than the other thing. It's DIFFERENT.

i am not that active on the forum but i do pop in every now and then but every time i do all i see is this sill little girls posts that seem to annoy and agitate people and are on the verge of working against the hard work that the people behind this great forum have done

if i was in charge i would of got rid of her along time ago and not taken her off of the moderation

there was a user on that forum, rude and ignorant, a bit like this welsh snooker person only worse but our admin wouldnt let us ban him just because he was a eurosport commentator
