Didn't even leading Canadian team fall and lose all chances on a medal? Ridiculous. Although I am not sure about stopping competition. They need to reconsider rules about qualifying to games, and access to the tracks so everyone can learn how to drive down that track, otherwise crashes will keep coming in Sochi as well. But this track is just wrong.
It seems that we are extremely good at biathlon this year. We already have 3 medals

Indeed. I wonder what has happened to the king of biathlon, I don't remember when Bjoerndalen missed so much in competitions. Yes, he misses occasionally, but as much as this week... I can't recall something like that for last seasons

I mean to stop competitions at that track for this olympics
Or re-design it quick but that doesnt sound real..would be good if they had another, reserve track

I am not so sure about stopping competition. That would seriously endanger the sport being in the Games at all. It has always been risky and dangerous, the athletes know that - noone is guaranteed they can't fall, they do. Even the best of best. Unfortunately, the mistakes in design led to far more worse consequences than elsewhere. And for lugers, that are the least protected, they did try to make speeds slower, which was quite successful.

I didn't see this one, but maybe age is catching up, he's 36 or so.
Of course 7 misses appears quite unbelievable...
Maybe he "didn't care" anymore after some 3-4 first misses, which ment no medal anyway.
Wonder if Norwegians feel like taking him to team competition now
Ah, commentary (eurosport.ru mostly - how would you say it compares to Mr.Sinitsin? ) said he plans to be there in the next Olympics as well. So he himself must be not feeling too old as yet.

I don't think it's the age, he got better with shooting year by year. I am just afraid that in his quest for perfection he overdid this. He's training to shoot faster, so maybe it was getting too fast. His skiing form is at his best though. I am sure he will be in relay team, because the other norwegians have had a nightmarish starts all season.. Getting to run extra loops in relay. Please tell me it's not Ole's turn this time
Talking about next olympics - our journalists say that Bricis wants to keep on till Sochi as well
As for Eurosport commentary - it depends who is commentating. I do like Kurdyukov who commentates biathlon and ski jumping, he tends of course to root for russians (who happened to get first olympic individual gold in men's biathlon events in I think 16 years), but generally doesn't wish bad luck to anyone else. There have been cases of other commentators doing so Also, Kurdyukov is fantastic at commentating cycling. Tour de France is just an enjoyment with him
