no mate was a virgin flight 4 years ago, went to barbados for my honeymoon

Being friends and met a lot of famous snooker players in my time. But in 1972 i had the pleasure of spending the week with muhammad ali when he boxed in ireland in 1972. He boxed in the edenderry boxing ring which my father made. It was the biggest boxing ring in ireland and we got the call that they wanted the ring for the big fight, when he came for the fight he also wanted the ring for the whole week to spar in. So we spent the whole week in dublin looking after ali. My father and uncle were his body gaurds for the whole week and i was 16 at the time and ever day i was in the dressing room with ali, and i have to say he was the most down to earth legend or god what ever u want to call him i ever met. Edenderry is a small town in ireland where iam from. Boxing was my first proffession before i turned to snooker. Spent many a night and week with the great alex higgins.but i have to say being also good friends with jimmy white ken doherty, jimmy and ken and also john higgins are the the most gracious, down too earth nicess people and friends you will ever meet.
