I reached the finals of the second ever Pontins Prestayn snooker week in the mid 1970s and Joe Davis presented me with my prize.

On holiday in Santa Monica, California, with my missus and another couple and we joined a few people standing outside a hotel with hundreds of cops everywhere and Bill Clinton came out of the hotel, put his briefcase into the huge black limo and walked across the road to us and chatted to us about the UK for a couple of minutes and shook our hands!!

i've had a beer with Bez from the Happy Mondays! Im also on first name terms with Badly Drawn Boy (Damon Gough).

Other than that i'm an associate of former british champion boxer Andy Morris and 1 Extra DJ Jenna G.

Most famous ive met briefly was probably Keith Allen, Jarvis Cocker or Freddie Flintoff.

And i used to live next door to Caroline Aherne, still know her brother!

loads of them I’m a taxi driver and during the festival one year I picked up Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer only to pick up the two boys that were doing the puppetry of the penis show later on that same night they had pulled a couple of very nice ladies I’m sure they were interested in their personality.

Lots of snooker players plus Prince Charles when he was in the Navy and his ship visited Halifax, Nova Scotia where I was stationed.

I was jobbed off to explain to him how our newest electronic warfare suite worked and what it did. Not sure if I bored him to death or not, but he thanked me at the end of the 1/2-hour or so.
