              5th attempt for me. I actually felt a bit sorry for the cat when I'd done it

                The first couple of times i had a go i thought it was impossible but i ended up making that cat feel like santa clause at a job interview. A few rums later and that cat has no hope in running for the tuna on the other side of the hill. BAD KITTY <'_'> ..... still can't work out what the cat's thinking.....

                  I got it on my 2nd attempt. I don't see how you can actually fail once you see how the game works.

                        Did it on second attempt yay! Not usually good at stuff like that but it took me by surprise how easy it was.

                          the question is, is every single pattern solvable? It certainly seems easy enough.. but after looking at a screen full of circles, when you look elsewhere everything seems to look squarer than usual! :P

                            Not sure, but probably...
                            I did solve it from 2nd attempt initially since it was easy to figure out how it's working;
                            but now after this thread was coming up to the top again I tried a few more times, and I'd say I solve it about 2 times out of 3, well without over-trying.

                              if kitty just does a runner for a wide open and not too far boundary, I don't think you can stop it ... although a lot of the time, you can kid it by leaving a gap which it goes for and then you close, thus gaining enough time to close other more dangerous gaps ...

                              on the subject of "is every pattern solvable?" freecell is the ultimate! every one is ... instead of selecting random patterns, I started at 1,2,3 ... got up to a few thousand before I gave up but did solve every one ...

                              but certainly "catch the cat" is a good game ... I wonder if there's a version where you can define your own strategy for the cat ...

                                1st attempt, not difficult, although i rather think a lot depends on the randomness at the beginning
