    hotpot, sorry for delay,hang overs and wife to blame,anyway as promised pics of lacewood,the best i can come up with as a matching wood for splices is purple heart as in pics,set them against ebony to compare, your thoughts please,if you like it, it is very dear lol.

    It looks beautiful, i havent seen a lacewood cue, post a pic of the finnished product if you get the chance..

      That looks very much like curly purpleheart to me....in fact looks like the same stuff I use
