    606 has hit a new low

    It's not often I'm serious about anything but I don't think this can go unmentioned. Reading through 606 yesterday Seifer Almasy went around calling people vile and parasites, but that was nothing compared to what happened next. Some poster called Keeleysbackagain started making jokes about a poster who's 19 year old brother died in an accident. This was swiftly deleted thankfully, and the poster in question got a good hiding from the rest. But has shown no remorse and started another ridiculous thread. Sorry if I'm infringing the moderators rules by linking another forum, but I don't think this should go unnoticed, this is what we're up against:

              Forums like that need to be put out of their misery. The only way that happens is that people stop posting at them.

                  Comparing TSF to that 606 board, lawyer?

                  BTW, kid? Are you really that old?

                        It was a good forum before the BBC cut spending on it years ago along with some other sporting forums. Good news for TSF though as many came here.

                        I hate unmoderated forums.

                          They cut spending on it because they don't have a sausage anymore?

                          This is the only snooker forum I heard of apart from one other (cant remember the name) but there was no one one on it.

                              If I recall correctly they changed the format of 606 not long after England won the 2012 Olympics which I thought was a very strange move. At a time when they should have been increasing the operational budget of all the sporting forums they decided to slash them. Except football obviously!

                              I think some of the visitors there had already started developing TSF before the BBC Snooker forum changed from a fun and useful place to meet other Snooker lovers to a bland slow moving message board.
