    England is not the only one in this case...A lot of French people are using the 'text message language' as their 'main' language....which leads to awful stuff...This is particularly true amongst the youngsters. They are so used to write this way that it's amazingly common for the teachers to find tons of abbreviations and misspelled words in copies or during exams!!

    I am honestly really concerned by the general lack of orthographic and grammatical knowledge amongst the younger generations. I chat a lot with French Canadian mates and over there too it's just horrible...OK, the 'Quebecker' is very different form the French from France but still....I notice an over-simplification of the language that I find really worrisome.
