I've not actually been too Mexico myself either!
If were talking about beers we've had where the're made I had a great one in Sri Lanka but can't remember what it was called!
Have you had Guinness in Ireland!

I think you have to divide it in different categories.

Lager/Pilsner, standard 5% of alcohol. best without a doubt Pilzner Urquell from the Czech Republic. The name Pils originates from the town Pilzen. Its where Pilsner was invented.
German pilsner are second best. Konig, Jever undsoweiter

Double and Triple. Belgium, without any doubt The Kings of Beer. Chimay, Westvleteren, Lachouffe, could name a few dozen more. Alcohol ranges from 6% up to 12%

Real Ale/ Bitters: Newquay steam brewery (if it still exists). I drunk a few in Sheffield last time in the Fat Cat. forgot the brands, too many braincells gone

Thats for being a student for 9 years. gives you a wide range of experience in testing beers. We got a pub here in Amsterdam with 18 different beers on draught and another 200 brands on bottle. Its well known among British tourists. Its called The Wildeman (The Rough Male).

The pub has a wonderful decoration. smoking and non smoking section and DOES NOT PLAY LOUD MUSIC!

Oh yeah, I was student only for 6 years, but that was also a wonderful experience That pub sounds good, especially no loud music. Can't stand that

BTW this year I was in Brussels and was in a pub where they say you can get even Latvian beer - well, they've got the cheepest and non-drinkable stuff from Latvia!!!

Actually I am pretty much a teetotaller these days, although I can occasionally enjoy a glass of wine or cider.
