Well, European nations have never won a tournament that was held outside Europe, so tradition suggests it's between Brazil and Argentina.

That won't be my preference though, but I'm not too bothered.

Not giving Germany much chance, do you? Another top contenders missing are The Netherlands, Portugal and France in my opinion. Of course Brazil is allways a good guess. Until the last European Championship Spain has never been an adequate tournament team, despite their impressive line up. As for England the same roughly goes, - at least for the modern times. Italy is unlikely to defend the title and Argentina would be better of with Maradona as a player (in his prime) rather than their coach. Me think too that at least one African team will get deep into the tournament.
