Bristol Rovers won today to get them into the play-offs. Hopefully they can win and get promoted :-)You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

I am a spurs fan - went to about 5 games this season. Very pleased with the progress over the last couple of years - getting 5th two seasons in a row!
However, the membership package for this year has come through - the price last seaosn was ~£28. This year it is £38 (with less benfits) and if you want to be put on a waiting list to have a slim chance of getting a season-ticket it is £51. Are there any other fans out there who have noticed a similar price hike?
As mentionned on this thread football seems increasingly about money. Has anyone decided that they ought to start following a non-league side? It is the way I'm thinking of going.

rafa benetiz is by far the best manager, if you guys all talk about money then liverpool don't have much, some of you might disagree~!! and i've read post that say martin jol is a good manger and so on, but look at spurs they have bundle loads of money, just look at the amount of players they buy and don't use
benetiz is only getting money since the takeover and his taken liverpool to 2 CL Finals and done ok for the premiership, since we always have a bad run at the start.

1. Coppers treat you like human beings.
2. You will afford a halftime pie and a drink at normal prices.
3. A better view and even stand if you want.
4. See real men playing not overpaid ponces.
5. Meet opposing fans and even like em instead of wondering if they have a stanley in their pocket.
6. Instead of 5 or 6 matches a season it'd be every home game and 5 or 6 away for the same cost.
7. No escort back to your coaCh/train after the game allows you to actually see where you are other than on a map.
8. Never worry again about getting a ticket to that all important game.
9. Take the kids with you, safely.
10. YOU WILL SIMPLY ENJOY IT MORE.
