As always England can't win on penalties anyway you forgot to mention that the game was c*** during extra time

    • I was watching it - and just knew when it went to penalties....

Alex0Paul : there was a game in the African Nations cup last year (semi Final I think) that went to something like 22-22.

      Dan.

        • Don't think England could have done anymore, I thought Steven Taylor ran his socks off, Rio Ferdinand, are you watching, someone who is a central defender and works hard and doesn't pose

Cut Rio some slack. He, unlike most of his teammates, is spending his summer in Uganda setting up an academy out of his own pocket.

Steven Taylor did so well with his penalty - that dutch coach - was totally out of order coming onto the pitch.

In the interview after he claims Holland should have won 3-1 or 4-1.

The racism form the Serbian fans should have been dealt with far more severely by UEFA. Liverpool fans received considerable criticism for UEFA's poor organisation, yet Serbia were not even mentioned for the behavior of their players/fan at the end of the England match in Nijmegen.

Yes it is hard to pinpoint exactly what was said - but a much tougher line needs to be taken..

Good luck in the final for Holland - they have some decent players coming through... who will probably be snapped up by ManYoo.

              .

He was right to correct the ref. Every player that's on the pitch at the end of the game is supposed to take a penalty. Only the goalie can be substituted. If Taylor was hurt, he should've been taken off some seconds before the end of the game. That's the rules, sorry...and another rule is to wait for the ref to blow the whistle before taking a penalty sorry couldn't resist.

                • What about not moving forward off the goal-line as the dutch keeper did on every penalty?

I didn't like that too. Think the ref should have said something respectively have them retaken.

Of course not, Come on, Holland is playing in this tournament the best football ! This evening they outplayed Servia with attractive offensive football.
I saw that going differently in my mind

The Belgium - Holland match was 2 - 2, just what was needed for both teams, it's so important to have good neighbours Paul It reminded me the Eurosong contest when East European countries helped each other in their voting...

From the BBC website - I remember Sol Cambell saying something similar.
