and technology in this day and age is not allowed for some strange reason

It is high-noon to introduce video evidence in football. In ice hockey, tennis ie it works fine. I suspect though that the FIFA (similar to the old WPSBA board) are strictly against any modern insights

The chip on the ball would solve this easily enough. Obviously FIFA (Platini) doesn't want to invest on new technology as this way they can control better who makes progress and who doesn't. (HELLO FRANCE)
