page 528, just checked that, I am forever rewriting that page in my mind/pretending it didn't exist. So many other options there, why????
Actually from that page on it all went slightly downhill, and for crying out loud, who really needed that very last chapter???
I'm guessing it was written as some sort of buffer for Rowling, so that she might not have to answer the same questions over and over and over etc again about what happens to this and that character (Scorpius?! LOL!) - and hopefully it might hold back the tidal wave of demands that will come for another HP book. I surely hope there will be no other book (well, except for the Malfoy and Snape saga, that is) following up on these 7.
Paged 528... if you were to re-write it, so that the following chapter (or the informations therein) would still have happened or been told, how would you have done it? I haven't really found another good way around that one, but the 1 hour thing was pathetic and out of character. It was really the only way to knit the story together. Still, that last line. So ever so sad
Otherwise welcome back, long time no see
Wie war Berlin?
Cheers, cheers.
... Not to mention that page 528 SUCKS *stomps foot* The major plot line turned out to be quite like I thought it would (well, except for page fivehundredandeffingeight, that is)...
No idea what you are talking about (why on earth did I let my littlebrother borrow the book when he went on holiday? I want it back! NOW!)
“There is nothing like looking, if you want to find something. You certainly usually find something, if you look, but it is not always quite the something you were after.” - J.R.R. Tolkien
Already read it. But I can't remember what exactly happens at that page so have no idea what you are talking about

Actually I liked the Potter book (ok,there were some silly things there that were a bit...well,that could have been left out/re-written), and I've come to like happy endings (even though this ending was a tad too sily even for me).
And what was wrong w page 528?
ok so after all the fuss i actually read this book - thats 6/8 hours of my life i will never get back - christ what is all the fuss about, its a reasonable idea for a childrens book that has been pretty poorly executed, still its made her hundreds of millions so good luck to her.
house sitting for my sisters sold house this week until the new buyer moves in. Its waaay bigger than my place so hopefully the new owner will backout so I can stay here longer lol
Perhaps I should be in the garden when they arrive eating hot dogs naked in a paddling pool. That might 'discourage' them
