        • Well, today it was my sister's birthday, I ate cake at dinner, very nice.
I also played snooker on my 4.5 foot table. Quite an interesting day.
Good luck with your snooker, Sam. I'll try to play this weekend, or perhaps Friday.

Hope your back problem gets sorted Sam. I've been getting some pain in my lower back and its a horrible sensation. Maybe a massage might help.

            • Hope the back is ok after the snooker practice Sam.

I went to a bookstore today and had a stationary party; it's kind of a tradition at the beginning of the school year.

                  • My lower back has been getting painful from me spending so much time sat upright at the keyboard with my back arched forward. A pillow helps but I'm thinking of getting one of those weightlifting belts for support. Just might work!

                    • try to get up from your seat and move around a bit every 30 minutes/or as often as possible, Rotty. the belt itself cannot help if your back is not moving and your back muscles are in the same position all the time

very true, the belt won't help.. it will even make your back muscles weaker!!! my physician advised me to get up & move every 20 minutes with is basically what April is suggesting as well as daily back & abs excercises!!

@ April: snooker will be the psychological aspect of my therapy since it makes me so happy

back on topic, my mother-in-law is fixing me one of my favorite dishes today "moussaka" *drooling*

Exciting things here? Uhm, if making a huge batch of chili con carne (the very-spicy-and-let-simmer-for-hours-and-hours type) qualifies, then exciting things are happening here.
