Financial crisis
Seems we all have a boring life.
Well, today I have taken a risk and invested a vast amount in a (rumoured) bankrupt bank, called Fortis, around close of the trading. Bought opties (dont know the english word) around half of a maximum. Fingers crossed. .
I expect it to rise up to 7 euros the coming months and then I will retire
you can follow the share price on

Fortis has 160 billion in equity (savings), so I cant see why they are under pressure. Think they have been talked down by the media. Pretty sure some are making a biggun as shares has flippered 20% up and down in recent days.
btw GMAC (mortgage bank) is borrowing money themselves for around 24%, so this one must be the first one going down. They have even stopped giving out mortgages since april!

They need some selling of fixed asset after the acquisition of ABN Amro and in todays market conditions it won't be easy.I saw that going differently in my mind

Welcome, Mitsuko. You last visited: Sat 3rd May 08 at 11:19 PM
That long? :OYou play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman
