Ive been to both 4 times and I would have to say California. Los Angeles has all the parks that Florida has if thats your thing plus you are a stones throw (in American terms) away from some amazing places (yosemite, grand canyon, las vegas, san francisco, san diego, mexico). I found the pace of life spot on and the pacific coastline climate (south of san francisco) in summer is perfect imo.
Ive had some fantastic road trip holidays looping in and around California and would thoroughly recommend it.
Been to both. I think South Beach is quite cool. Also love the water taxi in FL, kind of different. The weather is unbeatable in winter if you can get over the traffic (I know we Canadian tourists are to blamed.)
Personally I prefer CA--more dynamic, stylish and glamous in my opinion...isn't there a snooker club there?
