6ft putt from Magic Monty at the end of todays play to give europe a 2 point lead going into tomorrows play.

Really looking forward to the weekends play, sure there will be lots of drama. I reckon we'll beat them in singles this year, we look very strong. Garcia has been immense.

they judge it by playing golf regularly.

More great stuff from the Europeans today, everyone played well. Garcia/Olazabal, Westwood/Clarke were outstanding. Great hole in one from Casey.

Strange to see Tiger completely out of sorts. He just does'nt seem to click in the Ryder Cup.

Europe were out of this world today. Hit fairway after fairway, green after green, and their putting was absolutely awesome.

I'm well chuffed, enjoyed every minute of it. Emotional scenes at the end, particularly with Darren Clarke. The big guy was amazing.

Brought a tear to my eye so it did.
