  • The Statman for mastermind!

I bet he would win it with the topic:

    "The Crucible Years"

Who supports him to enter this Quiz?

    I do!

    Hear hear!

In fact, I'd like to see a snooker special with Statman, Cyril, 100 uper and cajt. Could be interesting.

And members of the forum as his audience!

I am serious though. I think he would have a great chance to win it. I will raise the subject in York.

I don't think you realise that I originally started to compile stats, years and years ago, simply because I am crap at remembering things - so I would have somewhere that I could easily consult. It just got a bit out of hand!

Ask kellie-text. She will say, do you remember the match in 1998 when Stephen Hendry made a 147 at Preston, something like that, and I won't have a clue. I'll say something like, oh that was against Peter Ebdon wasn't it?, and she'll point out that no, that was in Bournemouth three years earlier, and she was taklking about the time that Ken Doherty was playing.

Or whatever - you get my point.

What a downer! There could always be a member in the public whispering (or coughing, who wants to be a millionaire) the answer!
