Have you seen what the beeb's done to the message boards? That's the final straw. What I used to like about the board was that I could float between various sports, so I continued to use it despite the problems. But now, I can't find the snooker threads for all the football stuff. And for some reason I'm in pre-mod. That's me finished with the beeb.

Just wanted to rant about it really.

Dave, there are the old boards http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mbfivelive/F2148574, still working, but they are going to close it somewhere in november, and then there will be that blogging system, which they believe is something unique... as they said.

I like this forum too, Elvaago. But on the beeb i used to float around the rugby and boxing boards too and could keep flitting from board to board. I can't really do that now, unless i want to trawl through thousands of football threads looking for the threads i want. Still, it's nice here - i've been a member for a while, but haven't posted much. I'll be here more often now.

Hi Dave! I think that there is some categories for the sports on that 606. Anyway, I don't think that will be much better than the message board thing, it's a bit different stuff.

To be honest, April, I just can't be bothered with it anymore. It's just one thing after another. I dare say, after a couple of months, they'll make other 'improvements'. And, as I said, I've been put in pre-mod for some reason.

Dave, you are put on premod on the 606, because you are "new" there. Should be ok on the old boards.
Oh yes, yesterday I asked the same question on the thread opened by one of the hosts - how long will it take till the next experiments with the format. Don't think they will bother to reply.

Well, it's not al gone then. They just removed the link from were it allways was...
Nothing changed there really. Still very quiet, and still Mitsuko hard working to *bump* numerous old threads. Mitsuko appears to be very lonely there...
