One of the plot characters (not shown in the picture) was played by an actress who was three-time Oscar-nominated for the Best Actress in a Supporting Role. The movie in question was her last nomination.
There's also a remake of the movie with a male actor starring in a leading role who was mentioned as one member's favourite actor earlier in this thread..
