ok think george orwell (big brother) for film style.

this was easily the best one of a number of films that were banned after a political event in 1969. i could not name any of the cast but the film is a classic.

the politics is after Czechoslovak Communist Party Leader Alexander Dubcek was toppled

ok ok last and massive clue - well done to any film boffin that does not have to look this up - and by the way anyone who has not seen it really should, its amazing. up there with paths of glory for underlying tensions.

Two clues ago I started looking at Czeck films, with the Prague Spring in mind. I can't believe I saw the film Ucho (The ear) and passed by!
Needless to say I haven't seen it, I'll bear it in mind though.

Well, I got as far as Prague Spring after the date and checked for Czech films too... Nothing seemed familiar in the list though.
I should brush up my knowledge on European film it seems

So, here something easy, but the guy's styling always makes me laugh, so I had to share it!.

Her styling in the film is quite nice though, I think. Just Paul's hair and shirt is hilarious
