Just come in to read this very very sad news , i think i was the last person to speak with him on TSF as he got banned never to return. We were talking via the instant message service that we had for a while, and altho he just got banned, for some reason the message service continued working. Actually i copied and pasted the whole conversation and still have it, as it was getting a bit heated if i remember correctly lol...never dull with Noel around
Noel will now control the table from the sky as he joins the Snooker Gods in a new life. Kicks and divine interventions for players everywhere. RIP mate.
Noel will never fulfill his dearest dream in this life: make a 147 against Cliff Thorburn with whom he played regularly. Even very ill he was biking from the hospital to his snooker club to play: he called this his zen exercise.
May you rest now my friend in the snooker lovers paradise, where the sky is blue from the chalks dust. Some day - may it be not before many, many years - Cliff will join him there and who knows? Beware Cliff! Noel will have been practising hard!
