The chef downed the heart in one after a 1.83m (6ft) cobra was slit open in a Vietnamese snake restaurant for his latest programme.
In Monday's episode, Ramsay – who said it was enough to make him a vegetarian – is warned he could feel the heart beating in his stomach for several minutes afterwards.
Viewers see the snake heart beating after being placed in a glass of liquid.
A grim-faced Ramsay says: ‘The thought of eating that turns my stomach.’
An animal rights group has called the episode, which can be seen on Monday on Channel 4 at 9pm, a ‘cruel attention-seeking sick stunt’.
