      • Still no fully correct solution!
"If anybody can knock these three balls in, this man can."
David Taylor, 11 January 1982, as Steve Davis prepared to pot the blue, in making the first 147 break on television.

That would be telling! But suffice to say that no full solution has yet been posted of words that would fit into the grid!

Edit: apologies, a solution has been posted of words that would fit into the grid, but on that solution two of the answers are wrong.

                • Oh, I've just noticed that chasmmi isn't on the scoreboard yet. I'll give him a consolation half-point as he had got nearly all the answers first. Nothing to do with me feeling embarrassed to be at the bottom of the scoreboard.

So here is the revised table after Round 21:

                  Pos. . . . . . . . Points . . . . . . Person
                  1 . . . . . . . . . . . 5½ . . . . . . elvaago
                  2 . . . . . . . . . . . 4 . . . . . . . The Statman
                  3 . . . . . . . . . . . 3 . . . . . . . hegeland
                  4 . . . . . . . . . . . 2½. . . . . . snookersfun
                  5 . . . . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . Mitsuko
                  6 . . . . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . rambon
                  7 . . . . . . . . . . . 1 . . . . . . . Sarmu
                  8 . . . . . . . . . . . 1 . . . . . . . davis_greatest
                  9 . . . . . . . . . . . ½ . . . . . . .chasmmi

PS The Statman, I hope you don't mind me messing up the table so there are now 21½ points after 21 rounds!

                  • OK name a player who has appeared at the crucible whose name contains none of the letters from the word: SNOOKERED,

As always this is the name as would have been given on the TV scoreboard etc so Jimmy White not James and so on.

First and last name not to contain those letters?
