I won't make any comment either about whether the one remaining incorrect answer in your list might have been an acceptable alternative answer to 26 Down!

Well done snookersfun! 1 point to you. I'm a bit confused about the state of the scoreboard as it hasn't been updated for a while, but make sure you get your point. I'll credit your point also for this on the Puzzles with numbers and things thread.

Here is the scoreboard after Round 24. It includes a point for snookersfun for round 22, a point for chasmmi and davis_greatest for round 23 (elvaago, see if you agree with this!), and a point for snookersfun for round 24

I think he is suggesting that as Horace lindrum and some others never played in a ranking event they are not well known enough snooker players tobe seen as lustworthy
Hehehe, well, yes partly that - and I was suggesting that we should each get a point for our efforts But it's OK, I don't mind my point being removed.

Incidentally, your first answer would have been acceptable had the clue been "Person who anonymously gave davis_greatest negative rep last night for posting score updates of the first Premier League semi-final."

Reper.... an interesting word... and palindromic! Which leads us to...
Round 25 - Back to front
You need to submit the best snooker-related palindrome you can. (A palindrome has the same letters reading backwards as forwards - ignore spaces and punctuation.) It can be a single word, like BOB (as in Bob Chaperon, but that would be a terrible entry), or a phrase as long as you like (like MADAM I'M ADAM, if that had anything to do with snooker).
Post your entries on this thread. This is, of course, entirely subjective, but the winner will be whichever one I like most that is submitted by 21:00 (9pm GMT) on Monday 4 December.
Anyone is also free to post a new round (from round 26) in the meantime, to overlap with this one.
