Let's keep The Statman's round (55) above open until he closes it, of course, but to keep the thread moving, I'll post simultaneously...
Round 56
What is the greatest number of words you can find satisfying the following?
(a) every word must start with the same letter
(b) every word must end with T
(c) every word must have a different letter immediately before the T
(d) the words must all be English, not having to start with a capital letter, and in a recognised dictionary.
For example, I might bid 4 if the longest list I could find were
COAT, CARROT, CHART, CAST
PS You may not use any of these words for your own list."If anybody can knock these three balls in, this man can."
David Taylor, 11 January 1982, as Steve Davis prepared to pot the blue, in making the first 147 break on television.

One is an anagram of the plural of the other but missing the s? If that makes sense
eg wife = wive (s)
dummy = dummie (s) etc"The five S’s of sports training are: Stamina, Speed, Strength, Skill and Spirit;
but the greatest of these is Spirit." Ken Doherty
