For a gorilla, Gordon is a superb snooker player and very popular with the lady gorillas. Today, one of them came up to him and explained that she has long been an ??????? of his, even though she is ??????? ! He blushed, but still gave her a nice bunch of ????????? before proceeding with giving me my weekly theoretical lesson on breakbuilding and techniques for ????????? angles to get out of snookers. He drew lots of lines on the blackboard, as though he were a ???????????? - it was like being back in ??? ????????? ! Anyway, I sat there while he spoke, and tried to stay ?????? and ?????? to it all. He is so good, that I ??????? that he will reign ??????? at the top of the Gorilla Snooker league for many a season to come!

Oliver likes to play snooker and, with his long orang-utan
arms, ?????? himself on the fact that he can stretch to play any shot and never needs the
rest or the ??????.

Even if the white is in the middle of the table, he tends
just to ????? ????, no matter how far – however, sometimes he can tend
to ????????? and pull a muscle. Like today, for instance.

“This knowledgeable Crucible crowd knows that fortunately Oliver
appears to have ???????? ???? his calf, and not something more
serious,” said ?????? ?????? in commentary.

It is not long before Oliver has recovered and is walking around to see if the next
colour ????, having inadvertently held the pink ????.

“That wasn’t the bad shot. It was the one before it,” remarks the
other commentator, ?????? ??????
“The main reason he plays matches,” he continued, “is that, rather like your Hendries and your O'Sullivans, he likes the company – apparently he feels
sadder and ???????? ???? no one to play against. In fact, Gordon
likes to ?? ???? ??? the lady orang-utans in the club!”

The crowd laughed and, at that point, Oliver found himself
with the ????? ???? on the ??? ??????? – perhaps distracted by the audience reaction, he miscued completely and fouled,
conceding four ?????? – ???? !
