          A clue:

          ROUND FOUR

A vegetable, a country, a musical instrument, a disease, without doubt, a mathematical formula, conduct, an advancement of exceptional scope, idiots, chaos.

All clues for words which share a quality. For example, for the first few you might have: Potato, Lesotho, piccolo, lumbago... and they woould all be words ending in 'O'.

What are the answers and what do they have in common?
Here are the initial letters of the answers:
          C vegetable, M country, T musical instrument, P disease, U without doubt, E mathematical formula, B conduct, G advancement (adjective), I idiots, P chaos.

All contain each of the five vowels, but I'm missing three as I'm in a rush

            Cauliflower
            Mozambique
            T
            Pneumonia
            Unquestionably
            Equation
            Behaviour
            G
            I
            Pandemonium

Excellent. This guarantees you half a point, rambon, and I'll give the other half to whomever can complete the last of the unfilled ones above.

                Cauliflower
                Mozambique

                Equation

                Gregarious?
                Ignoramuses
                Pandemonium
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

Gregarious is not the correct answer.

A final clue: It is hyphenated.

No takers for the last missing answer? I'll tell you, it was 'ground-breaking'.

So I shall give the whole point to rambon in recognition of his almost full earlier answer:

So here is the table after Round 4:

                    Pos. . . . . . . . Points . . . . . . Person
                    1 . . . . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . The Statman
                    2 . . . . . . . . . . . 1 . . . . . . . rambon
                    3 . . . . . . . . . . . 1 . . . . . . . elvaago

(We will assume the same principles as in the snooker quiz, whereby you go straight to the top of your new points total to avoid tied positions.)

                    ROUND FIVE

...will come along later, unless anyone else wants to jump in...

I've already given you the answer - ground-breaking!

                        ROUND FIVE

First person with a complete set wins the point.

Fill in the following words. All vowels (a,e,i,o,u) have been given and the number of dots indicates the number of missing letters. There may be more than one possible answer. Any word cited in either Chambers online or Rhymezone.com shall be allowed. No words requiring a capital letter; no hyphens or apostrophes unless they are given below.
