ONE + SEVEN = 8
THREE + SEVEN = 10
TWELVE + THREE + THREE + THREE = 21
ELEVEN + THREE + THREE + TWO = 19
EIGHT + ONE + TWO = 11
FIVE + TWO = 7
SIX + ONE + TWO = 9
SIX + THREE + TWO = 11
FIVE + FIVE + THREE = 13
TEN + THREE + ONE + ONE + TWO = 17
NINE + THREE + ONE + TWO = 15
I'm too tired to continue but I could do that ad infinitum.

It occurs to me that this was not a very well thought-out question, so I am abandoning it!
I like the numbers quiz idea that we do it just for fun, so I suggest we abandon the scoreboard and just do it for the honour!
So I will submit a new Round Forty-one:
Assist
Consist
Desist
Insist
Persist
Resist
Subsist
These seven words are quite similar – indeed, only the most unobservant would fail to notice that they all end in '-sist'.
However, one of the words stands out from the rest in a manner concerning the letter 'Y'.
Also, two of the words stand out from the rest in a manner concerning the letter 'A'.
Which are the odd ones out, and for what reason?

Assistance
Consistency
Desistence
Insistence
Persistence
Resistance
Subsistence
I'm guessing, if my spelling is correct, that the odd one out with the Y is consist, as the noun ends in a Y where the others end in E.
For the same reason I'd go for Assist and Resist as their nouns contain an A before the NC and the others all have an E
Probabl wrong but worth a pot-shot

I was thinking more of the kind of previous answers - i.e. that any (not all) of the letters can be used! (But I think you knew that!)
