              • A friend of mine sent me an e-mail today telling me that I should listen to this... and as it was the first song that I heard today, I thought why not share it with you...

The song is called Dear Penis by Rodney Carrington. It's incredibly funny! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxPHASdoknU (parental advisory - explicit content)

                        • Lay It Down by Melanie Safka featuring The Edwin Hawkins Singers.

I've watched the vid on youtube many times but only noticed last night the audience. It must be Melanie's home turf and they certainly don't look like they are that familiar with Gospel music. The video quality is terrible and everyone except Melanie and the audience is 'faceless' which is a shame but I want to find out more on the history of the vid. I assume it was filmed in the 60's when relations between race and religion is not what it is today which makes it all the more fascinating.
