I'll have to listen to that sometime (preferably when not sitting in the office). I have a recording of him singing Gershwin's Summertime.

Robeson was once in my grandfather's taxicab - he later died in poverty (Robeson, that is, not my grandfather - and Robeson died in Philadelphia, not in my grandfather's cab - just to be clear).
