Sorry to bother you again but I'd need your help. I'm doing a homework on historical linguistics and need a few words in different languages for analysing. Thought this was the most convenient way (for me) to get the info I need.
Could you list the words for the numbers one, two, three in your native tongue (or any other language you speak)? The more exotic the language, the better. No matter if the tongue is still spoken or extinct. As I said, it's historical linguistics.
I would be esp. grateful for languages like Hindi (Ranen?) or Sanskrit, Persian, Russian, Latvian, Romanian, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Greek, etc... Maybe also Scottish Gaelic, Irish Gaelic, Welsh, Manx (if anybody knows the numbers)? Basically any language you can think of.
To make an easy start (and show you what I need), I'll start with German.
one = eins
two = zwei
three = drei
Pretty easy, ey? I'd really appreciate the help.
Thanks!
