LOL. he keeps getting banned and coming back under different names, but its always all too obvious who he is, as he cant contain his Ding obsession.

Personally I find him amusing and harmless but he must have upset a few people along the way.....

I never was on the BBC forum, but have been here since April last year, mainly as an occasional member. I have (at some point) gone for ages without posting and hardly missed much.

But the "BBC Invasion" has been good for this forum, lots of new members and lots more posts. It's sad to see the BBC forum go, but this forum has definitely benefited.

Anyway, it's good that so many of us have remained in contact here at TSF. I understand that the 'old' BBC boards will still be available to view, so maybe we should put a link to the threads we most fondly recall, here!

Yess funny thing about groovywood, he started that thread, asking for it to be the biggest ever, and then never contributed to it once it had achieved cult status!

In fact, he only made three posts on the snooker board, two that day and one 9 months later!

It was a great forum but I now have a certain degree of resentment towards the BBC for shuting it down in favour of 606.

Some lovely memories there. I only ever got one point on the BDE comp then had it taken off me again for some reason iIcan't remember!
I think the nail in the coffin for the BBC boards was the three minute rule - totally frustrating!
